La Cala America Golf Course
The second of the three championship golf courses at La Cala Golf Resort is the America Course, opened shortly after first course, and previously known as the North course, it measures a little longer but carries the same par of 72. The hilly topography is also similar to the Asia course, and doesn’t lend itself to any natural water features, although two man-made lakes come into play, with dramatic effect. The key to scoring well around the La Cala America golf course are the tee shots, whilst the fairways are generous, there´s much to be gained by taking a tighter line from many of the holes. Should you be skillful enough to find the fairways on the par 5´s, your reward will be a dangerous, yet tempting second shot to the green. Although challenging, the wider fairways make this a slightly easier test than the La Cala Asia and Europa courses, but just as exciting.
