Los Flamingos Golf Course is a firm favourite with golfers of all abilities visiting the Costa del Sol. The golf course offers a challenging yet fair layout immaculate prepared and among beautiful surroundings. Situated several a short distance to the west of Marbella and Puerto Banus the course was opened in 2001 and has attained a well-deserved reputation for the high level of quality offered throughout its facilities. Los Flamingos golf course has been the chosen venue for three consecutive years for the Daily Telegraph European Seniors Match Play Championship final cementing the, par-71 5,883m layout as a true championship course. Designed by the prestigious golf course architect Antonio Garcia Garrido the golf course is characterised by its carefully conserved landscaping, with a large variety of trees and beautiful views of the Mediterranean. The smallest details have been taken into consideration with each hole being defined by its own trees such as cypresses, oranges, jacarandas, pines and olives. Los Flamingos is a demanding course but one which will be enjoyed and appreciated by golfers regardless of handicap. Each hole is laid out before you although elevation changes can be deceptive on the eye. Los Flamingos golf course is a very popular option with all golf packages on the Costa del Sol and especially those located near Marbella, Puerto Banus or Estepona.
