Torrequebrada Golf Course

Torrequebrada Golf Course sits high above the coastline, three kilometres inland, between the ever growing towns of Torremolinos and Fuengirola. The par 72, 5852 metre design was sculpted by Pepe Gancedo, one of Spain’s most famed golf course architects. Although not a long course by championship standards, it´s a tough test in every aspect of the game, just as you would expect from a course that has hosted the Spanish Open on several occasions. If you find the wide sloping fairways with your tee shot, you’ll be rewarded by playing from the beautiful turf for which Torrequebrada Golf is renowned. Over 100 species of trees line the course, which follows the natural contour of the land, and although hilly in places, the design more than makes up for it, offering some fantastic driving holes from elevated tees, as well as stunning views. A number of dog-leg holes require good strategy and skills, and accurate play. There are several lakes, and many streams, that bring water into play on over nine of the holes, and the well placed bunkers and raised greens provide a stiff but fair test for any golfer. The clubhouse boasts all the facilities you would expect from a course of Torrequebrada’s standing.
