Can I choose my own tee times?
Yes, but you must book in advance. The courses get busy at certain times of the year so booking in advance is always advisable.
How and when do I get to the course?
We suggest that you arrive at the course at least 30 minutes prior to your tee time to allow yourself time to check in and prepare. Because not all of the courses are adequately signposted, if requested we will supply you with directions or a map of the location of the golf course.
Do I need to bring my handicap certificate?
We do recommend that you bring your golf handicap certificate to the golf course in case the course marshal requests to see it. Normally, the majority of the golf courses will not ask, but some higher profile clubs could ask and you could be turned away without it.

Will I be charged by the airline for carriage of golf clubs?
Many of the low cost airlines now have a small charge for golf clubs but this depends on the carrier you use. The extra luggage supplement can be booked on-line.
Do the golf courses offer rental golf clubs?
Yes. The average charge for rental golf clubs is approx €25 to €40 per set, per round, at many golf courses you may be able to select for a range of top brand golf clubs.
What is the Dress Code and Etiquette at Spanish Golf Clubs?
Dress code on all golf courses is collared shirt, trousers or tailored shorts and socks, long or short. You must also have soft spikes in your shoes on all golf courses. The golf club will fit these for a small fee. The general etiquette must be observed at all times, if you are rowdy, disorderly, drunk or in any way blocking or holding up play, the course marshals have the right to eject you immediately from the golf course without refund. If you are judged to be incapable of play for any reason at check in, you may also be ejected without refund. The course director’s decision is final.
Can a non-golfer walk the golf course?
Usually the golf courses will allow a spouse or friend to accompany a golfer, but they will ensure that he/she does not pick up a club when out of sight of the clubhouse. If you are caught breaking the rules, they will remove you. If your companion wishes to walk alongside you, then most golf courses will not object to this, but please ask the course marshal or starter to ensure that he is aware of the situation.
When is the best time of the year to visit the Costa del Sol to play golf?
The Costa del Sol has an amazing all year round climate with the winter months being especially good, that is why it has become the number one golfing destination in Europe. The off peak time for golf is July and August simply because the weather gets a little too hot.
What else is there to do on the Costa del Sol?
If you’re looking for something other than or as well as golf there is a lot to do. There are a number of ports and harbors, some quiet some not so much, to shop or take lunch, historical villages perfect for whiling away the day and taking the local culture, adventure and theme parks ideal for small and big kids!
