Destination

Only twenty minutes from Malaga airport, the town of Fuengirola is famous for its five miles of sandy beaches, flanked by hotels with magnificent views of the Mediterranean and sweeping coastline. A recent landscaping drive by the local council has resulted in a wider promenade and plenty of palm trees, interspersed with colourful flower beds and additional seating.

There is certainly no shortage of things to do in Fuengirola as it’s always a hive of activity and things don’t change come nightfall. Restaurants, Bar and Clubs are among the liveliest on the coast all year round.

Hotel PYR Fuengirola***

The Hotel PYR Fuengirola is an aparthotel which holds a prominent position in the centre of Fuengirola on the seafront with magnificent views of the Costa del Sol’s coastline and the local marina opposite. An excellent location for local restaurants and bars along with the old town district of Fuengirola.

The hotels rooms are a studio apartment style with a sitting area and an equipped kitchenette a plus en-suite bathroom, besides a spacious furnished terrace which accompanies all rooms. The Hotel PYR Fuengirola has a full range of facilities including an outdoor pool which is heated throughout the winter months.

Places to go and things to do

Fuengirola is one of the largest towns on the Costa del Sol and has a traditional Spanish district which still reflects the ambience of a bygone era with narrow streets, neighbourhood shops and traditional white washed houses.

As Fuengirola is an all year round golfing destination, the atmosphere is a warm one with many of the golfing bars full to bursting with friendly faces.

El Chaparral Golf Course

El Chaparral Golf Course sits among a pine forest ensuring that no two holes are alike. A challenging course due to the tree lined fairways, although not over long and offering many birdie opportunities. El Chaparral is a great match play golf course, which will be appreciated by all golfers.

The club house and terrace boasts some of the best views on the Costa del Sol, with views across the pines to the Med.

Calanova Golf Course

One of the newest courses on the coast, Calanova Golf Course has quickly become a favourite. Built to USGA specifications the modern design with wide but well bunkered fairways and large undulating greens provides a tricky although very exciting test of golf.

Due to the extensive range of tees the course can accommodate all golfers and play differently from one day to other.

Alhaurin Golf Course

Set in the Sierra de Mijas Hills with breath taking views down to the coast, Alhaurin Golf Course is a unique experience. Hilly since it follows the contours of the land the course will test your course management as the emphasis is on accuracy not distance.

A very well maintained golf course with a wide variation of golf holes, where danger is never far away.

Lauro Golf Course

Lauro Golf Course is a well designed and laid out course, situated on a plateau it’s also fairly flat. The fairways are tree lined, placing importance of the tee shots, however water plays a key roll as there are 14 lakes in and around the course. Once you find the greens you will have to contend with the large fast slopping surfaces. A recommended course which will test high and low handicappers alike.

La Cala Golf Resort

La Cala Golf Resort has three championship course to choose from, America, Asia and Europa. All three courses administer a different test but which ever you opt for your guaranteed a tough examination of golf where you’ll be tested in every department of your game. The courses are always well maintained and highly recommended.

Mijas Golf Course

Mijas Golf Resort boast two golf courses Los Olivios and Los Lagos, both are regarded as great resort courses and are beautifully prepared. The fairways are large and with little rough the course are set up ideally for the higher handicap golfers, although water is in play on many holes. Greens are large with subtle breaks and in places guarded by huge bunkers. The traditional style Andalucian clubhouse is a great place to enjoy the sun after your round.

Car Hire

We work along side one of the Costa del Sol’s premier car hire companies. All the vehicles in the fleet are new and come with fully comprehensive insurance and 24 hour road side assistance as standard. The range covers everything from small to large saloons, estate cars, mpv’s, mini buses, 4x4's, automatic or manual transmission and all vehicles come with much needed extras like air conditioning, power steering, central locking and stereo. Daily Airport & Golf Transfers can be arranged during your stay. Vehicles will vary depending on the size of group but we ensure that they are new and well maintained.

Las Palmeras Hotel***

The Las Palmeras Hotel is located in the heart of Fuengirola within easy reach of the local attractions. A hotel which is popular with golfers and large groups.

There is no additional supplement for this hotel.

Gran Hotel Costa del Sol***

The Gran Hotel Costa del Sol is situated in La Cala de Mijas, with a great beach front location and a short stroll to the town it’s an ideal hotel for golfers and holiday makers alike.

Supplement for the 4 night package: April and May 40 Euros, June 50 Euros per person. 7 night package: April and May 70 Euros, June 88 Euros per person.
