El Chaparral is an 18 hole golf course which sweeps along the undulating coastline of Mijas Costa, approximately 20 minutes drive from Malaga. As soon as Spanish golf architect Pepe Gancedo was commissioned the local golfing fraternity waited with baited breath to see if he could surpass his previous course designs.
El Chaparral’s golf course and Clubhouse are unique on the Costa del Sol. Practically every hole overlooks the sea, and the nature of the terrain, the indigenous vegetation and pine forests ensure that no two holes are alike. Indeed with six par 3´s, six par 4´s and six par 5´s it is a beautiful and challenging course to play.

The Clubhouse of El Chaparral golf is situated in a prominent position at the heart of the golf course. With panoramic views over the golf course and the sea, its position overlooking the 1st tee and 18th green is ideal. Its situation is indeed significant, the reason being that it not only provides the normal facilities expected in a clubhouse, comfort and functionality, but in addition to this the whole building in conceived as a beautiful viewpoint over the golf course and its surroundings.
