The Marbella Golf and Country Club is located a short distance from the town of Marbella among the rolling hillsides of the Costa del Sol. Designed by Robert Trent Jones and opened in 1994 this rather hilly par 72 golf course winds it’s way between the olive groves that line several fairways. The fairways are generous and undulating with well placed bunkers ready to catch even the best struck tee shots, if your course management is lacking, however the rough can prove very tricky. Having found the middle of the fairways you will be faced with approach shots that require the correct line and yardage, as the well contoured greens are small and surrounded be large bunkers. Several lakes and holes across gully’s and ravines have been incorporated into the design making the Marbella Golf and Country Club a challenging and exciting course, which will be enjoy by golfers of all abilities. The club house facilities are second to none with fully equipped rooms including saunas and steam rooms. The restaurant is highly recommended as it has a developed an excellent reputation and boast views of the golf course and the Mediterranean.
