David Leadbetter Golf Academies offer a wide variety of instructional programs to meet the needs of men, women and juniors. These programs cater for every standard of golfer - from beginner to amateur competitor to touring professional. Whatever your age or ability, there is a program for you!

Individual Instruction
One hour private lesson
Full swing or short game

Playing Sessions
Play nine holes with your personal instructor. Receive invaluable instruction on “taking it to the course” as well as course strategy and pre-shot routine advice. The session includes a 15-minute evaluation and summary after the round
250 Euros (1, 2, 3 or 4 persons) buggy and green fees are not included.

3D Motion Reality/Biomechanics System

David Leadbetter Golf Academy at the La Cala Golf Resort has introduced Motion Analysis Technology by Taylor Made (MATT) to its offering, an extraordinary tool that elevates swing analysis to an entirely new level. It is the first complete system to be installed in Europe.

The system uses 9 high speed cameras that track the position of multiple reflective markers that are attached to your golf club and to you. From the positions of these markers a detailed computer animation of the movements in your swing and the golf club is produced. This animation is a complete 3-D version of your swing that can be viewed from any perspective.
Using the simulation and launch data your swing can be viewed and suggestions for improvements made. The specialist technician can then compare your swing to any of the tour players that have used the system. This new 3D-analysing equipment is about to change the face of golf instruction!

Schools
Mini Schools
Ultimate game improvement packages for those who need that little extra. These schools feature both full-swing and short game instruction.

Beginner to Winner School

The “Beginner to Winner” School is designed specifically for beginners and high handicappers. Some features of this school are:

No clubs required – Clubs can be supplied if needed
Taking your game to the course (on executive Par 3 Course)
Extensive video and computer analysis, with take home DVD
Enjoy a fun recreational and social learning experience - we can break down the intimidation barrier for beginner and high handicap golfers. All aspects of the game will be covered.

Short Game School

3 hours short game instruction. The school includes:
Three hours of instruction
