Playa Serena Golf Course is known to be one of the flattest in Spain, however with no less than nine lakes, seven of which are natural, it still presents a challenge. Largely the fairways are generously portioned but the constant threat of water allows golfers no respite. Approaches to the small well bunkered greens also demand accurate striking. The location is close to the coast and the brisk winds that can pick up from time to time giving the course a links type of characteristic. However a number of palm, acacias and pines which stripe the course do contradict this. Playa Serena Golf Course can play differently from one day to the next depending on wind conditions but will certainly be relished by golfers of any standing.
