Situated along Portugal’s south coast, the Algarve is a plethora of championship golf courses and has an excellent year round climate. The City of Faro is the Algarve’s largest and houses the main airport but it is Vilamoura and Quinta do Lago which has long been the golfing hub of the Algarve although cities like Tavira, Albufeira, Portimao and Lagos are now attractive options as well.
