The majestic layout of the stunning O’Conner Golf Course sits just outside Vilamoura-hotels-and-golf-courses.aspx" title="Vilamoura Golf" style="color:#666666; text-decoration:none;">Vilamoura in the heart of the Algarve. The par 72, 6719 metre design is amongst the longest within the Algarve and includes some breathtaking holes. This Christy O´Conner Jr signature course is comprised of large water areas using many lakes and streams that whilst being a strategic part of the design will also be maintained as a wildlife sanctuary. All around the course you will see unique features both incorporated within the design of the course and historically speaking. None are more apparent than the several Moorish buildings which the Arabs called Al-Garb which can be seen to the left of the 13th hole.
