Puerto Banus

La Quinta Golf Course

La Quinta Golf Course is a technically demanding course with narrow, slopping fairways and plenty of hazards left and right. The greens are a little smaller than average but fast and heavily slopped, making missing the green on the wrong side a cardinal sin. Course management is essential at La Quinta as the emphasis is all on accuracy and positioning your self correctly.

Los Naranjos Golf Course

Los Naranjos Golf Course located in Marbella’s golf valley winds its way through Orange groves, from where the course gets its name. With tree lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers getting the ball in play is no mean feat, however the approach to the greens is another thing. Heavily on all sides the greens require the most accurate of shots to the undulating surfaces. A true championship course having hosted many major professional tournaments, a highly recommended golf course.

Los Flamingos Golf Course

Los Flamingos Golf Course has quickly established itself as one of the Costa del Sol’s best golf courses, delivering an exciting course design with immaculate fairways and greens it’s not hard to see why. Los Flamingos has many elevation changes and many raised and well bunkered greens, besides the several lakes that come into play, especially on the closing holes allowing for a tight finish to any match. A must play course for all golfers.

Rio Real Golf Course

Rio Real Golf Course is the oldest but still one of the best courses on the Costa del Sol, with tight fairways lined with umbrella pines and small greens it’s good a test of golf but still possible to map your way around. The course is crossed numerous times by a river, form where the course gets its name, which can prove to be quite a hazard as it must be crossed with approach shots and it cuts close to the greens edge. A very picturesque course which all golfers will find a pleasure to play.

Santa Clara Golf Course

Wide fairways and large greens are the signature to Santa Clara Golf Course, also having little rough you would think that it’s an easy course, but you’d be wrong. Although the fairways are wide, it’s hard to pick your lie from the tee and strategically placed bunkers are more easily found than you would think. The greens are large but well contoured and getting the wrong side of the pin can be fatal. A good golf course and well deserving of its growing reputation as one of the ‘must play’ course on the Costa.

Monte Mayor Golf Course

Monte Mayor Golf Course is a very challenging layout with no room for error from the tee or from the fairway for that matter, as it cuts through mountainous terrain and over ravines and a meandering stream which comes into play several times.

Monte Mayor is a golf course unlike any other, love it or hate it, it will be a course you’ll never forget. This is defiantly a course for the straight hitters.
