Destination

Sotogrande is located on the west of the Costa del Sol, over the last decade it has become synonymous with golf, due to the high concentration of first rate championship golf courses in the area.

Sotogrande has long been a residential estate with superb facilities for horse riding, polo, tennis, and sailing, aside from golf, of course.

However, as the infrastructure has grown and matured, Sotogrande developed into a superb holiday destination and one that is wrongly underrated.

Almenara Golf Hotel & Spa

Located in Sotogrande, the Almenara Golf Resort sits between Valderrama and San Roque. The hotel has been the official hotel of the Volvo Masters Golf Tournament for five consecutive years, this is due to the excellent facilities and great location.

The hotel’s layout, allows for all of the individual townhouse style rooms, to look out on the 27-hole course, the hotel gardens or the Mediterranean sea.

Within the resort you will find a full range of facilities, the hotel houses two restaurants Gaia and VeinTeeOcho and the Cucurucho Beach Club situated on the sea front and surrounded by lawns and swimming pools. The Elysium Spa offers the most innovative treatments as well as a weight room, an aerobics room and a separate water zone and the Sotogrande Golf Academy, with long and short game practice areas is a superb addition.

Places to go and things to do

The El Cucurucho beach club, Elysium Spa and the Sotogrande golf academy are a few of the hotel’s facilities available to you. Within the Sotogrande estate there’s one of the finest equestrian centres in Spain, along with the Raquet centre.

The Almenara Golf Resort is located close to the Sotogrande Marina, where you find numerous cafes, restaurants and shops around the waters edge.

Almenara Golf Resort

Almenara Golf Course is home to 27 Dave Thomas designed golf holes. The course offers three loops of nine, each with its own individual characteristics, cork oaks, pines trees, lakes and streams are some of the features to expect.

Almenara is a golf course to suit all level of golfers, the lower handicappers will particularly enjoy the test.

La Reserva Golf Course

La Reserva de Sotogrande Golf Club opened in 2003 has quickly gained a name as a top championship course, due to the superb design and excellent conditioning. A modern golf course design with wide fairways and large greens sounds easy, but this is far from the truth. At over 6700 metres it’s one of the longest on the Costa del Sol. La Reserva is a must play for any low handicap golfer.

Sotogrande Golf Course

Sotogrande Real Club de Golf is a classic course design and constantly among the top five in Europe. The immaculate fairways are lined with mature vegetation with subtly undulating greens. Sotogrande ‘old course’ is considered by many of Spain’s top golfers to be the best in Spain. Whatever standard of golfer, you’ll appreciate this Robert Trent Jones masterpiece.

San Roque Golf Course

The San Roque Club is home to two championship golf course, the ‘Old’ and ‘New’, and has hosted the European PGA Tour School many times, due to the high standard of the facilities and the quality of the golf courses both in design and conditioning. The courses are very different in styles, although they are both exceptional golf courses and very demanding tests of golf.

Finca Cortesin Golf Course

Finca Cortesin Golf Club is regarded as one of the longest courses in Europe, at over 6,800 metres from the back tees it’s not surprising. A modern course design with large but beautifully shaped fairways and greens, plus some stunning tee shots over gullies and ravines. All in all an immaculate golf course which, due to the vast tee selection can be enjoy by all golfers.

Valderrama Golf Course

Valderrama Golf Club, renowned as the best in Europe and among the world’s elite golf courses. Valderrama has been the home of the Volvo Masters for nearly two decades and hosted the World Golf Championships on two occasions, yet the high point of its history is undoubtedly the staging of the 32^nd Ryder Cup in 1997. Playing golf at Valderrama is an experience every golfer should experience at least once in their life.

Alcaidesa Golf Course

Alcaidesa Golf is the only links course on the Costa del Sol, set on beautiful rolling countryside by the sea. You’ll find gorse and heather bordering the fairways and the greens are among the best on the coast. The Spanish PGA have held several tournaments at Alcaidesa, as it’s a tough but fair examination of golf. A great course of high and low handicap golfers alike.

Car Hire

We work along side one of the Costa del Sol’s premier car hire companies. All the vehicles in the fleet are new and come with fully comprehensive insurance and 24 hour road side assistance as standard. The range covers everything from small to large saloons, estate cars, mpv’s, mini buses, 4x4's, automatic or manual transmission and all vehicles come with much needed extras like air conditioning, power steering, central locking and stereo. Daily Airport & Golf Transfers can be arranged during your stay. Vehicles will vary depending on the size of group but we ensure that they are new and well maintained.

The Nh Sotogrande is nestled in the countryside between the Almenara Golf Resort and the Sotogrande Marina. A stunning hotel decorated in a contemporary chic design.

A discount of 120 Euros for the 4 night package and 220 Euros for the 7 night package is applicable with this hotel.

Club Maritimo de Sotogrande Hotel

Club Maritimo de Sotogrande Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel situated in the Sotogrande Marina. All the rooms have an individuality about them and many offer unsurpassed views across the Med to Africa.

Supplement for the 4 night package: 65 Euros and 90 Euros with transfers. 7 night package: 115 Euros and 140 with transfers.
