The championship design of Alicante Golf Course sculpted by Spain’s very own Severiano Ballesteros, is a culmination of six par 3s, 4s and 5s resulting in a testing 6236 metre par 72 layout. Landing areas from the tee are generous and golfers are presented with numerous birdie opportunities, however with seven large lakes guarding the approaches to many of the greens water is a constant danger. During the courses construction is1998 the ruins of an ancient Roman country house ‘Villa Ferrer’ where discovered and can still be seen today beside the fourteenth green. Alicante Golf Course will be enjoyed by professionals and amateurs alike, with its exciting mix of water and reachable long holes there is something to tax every golfer.
