Stretching around eight lakes and numerous sandy palm strewn wastelands, Hacienda del Alamo boasts one of the longest courses in Spain. Measuring a mighty 6724 metres from the back pegs the par 72 that Dave Thomas designed is a great challenge for amateurs and professionals alike. The exciting combination of large carries over water and scrubland along with the eighty plus threateningly positioned bunkers will induce most golfers to draw breath when faced with only a slither of green amid the many pitfalls. However, the beauty of Hacienda del Alamo scenery allows for a good possibility of errors from the tee with wide fairways but some large greens will ensure the golf course can be enjoyed by players of all abilities.
