Almenara Golf Course is situated in an enclave of upper Soto Grande between Valderrama and San Roque. This stunning golf course has three loops of nine holes which have been carefully shaped through the natural parkland and are surrounded by extensive vegetation of pine and cork oak trees. Two huge lakes that have been integrated perfectly into the course design as well as several streams add a dangerous yet exciting element to many of the holes boarding the water’s edge. Almenara Golf Course has been designed with all golf abilities in mind, although the water hazards, high lipped bunkers, hilly terrain and narrow fairways make an intimidating impression. With some good course management you’ll find this a very enjoyable golf course.
The golf restaurant Vein Tee Ocho forms part of the Almenara Golf Hotel and also doubles as the club house, which serves a full menu day and night and has a large and spacious terrace with views of the whole golf course and down to the Mediterranean. Almenara Golf Course is one of the best Sotogrande golf courses in Costa Del Sol.
