Dona Julia Golf Course sits to the east of Soto Grande in a region of the Costa del Sol where golf is fast becoming the main attraction. This par 71 course which Antonio Garcia Garrido designed has been constructed to the highest specifications with the most notable features being the huge heavily contoured greens and modern fairway bunkering and tee design. Dona Julia is defined by two very different nines; the first is certainly the more difficult with the longer holes that wind their way between trees, lakes and the river. The second nine is by no means easy but a little gentler with more birdie opportunities should you find the correct tier on the greens. This is a good examination for all levels of golfer and has proven to be an exciting course with several risks and reward tee shots on offer should you feel brave enough to take the challenge.
