Situated close to Puerto Banus golf and San Pedro, Los Arqueros Golf Course is set in the foothills of the Sierra de Ronda mountain range and is renowned as one of the most tranquil and stunning golf settings on the Costa del Sol. Designed by Severiano Ballesteros, accuracy should be your number one concern here as danger lurks at every hole. This superb course provides lots of birdie opportunities if you manage to keep your ball in play from the tee. The fairways are not the tightest but don’t offer much room for error if you fail to hit them. There are many ravines, lakes and elevation changes, so you will quickly find yourself in a lot of trouble should you stray from the straight and narrow. Having found the fairway you’ll be left with a short or medium iron as the course is quite short by modern standards. This course will require accuracy as the greens are small and undulating.
The course isn’t as hilly as it may first appear although there are some big elevation changes and walking the course maybe tough, however this is a golf course that can be enjoyed by all golfers and should be played at least once as it offers all kinds of exciting challenges.
