Los Flamingos Golf Course has become a firm favourite with golfers of all abilities due to its challenging yet fair layout, immaculate maintenance and beautiful surroundings. Situated several km west of Marbella and within easy reach of Puerto Banus and San Pedro this course was opened in 2001 and has attained a well-deserved reputation for the high level of quality offered throughout its facilities. This course has been the chosen venue for three consecutive years for the Daily Telegraph European Seniors Match Play Championship final and this has cemented the, par-71 5,883m layout as a true championship course. Designed by the prestigious golf course architect Antonio Garcia Garrido the course is characterised by its carefully conserved landscaping, with a large variety of trees and beautiful views of the Mediterranean. The smallest details have been taken into consideration with each hole being defined by its own trees such as cypresses, oranges, jacarandas, pines and olives. Los Flamingos is a demanding course but one which will be enjoyed and appreciated by golfers regardless of handicap. Each hole is laid out before you although elevation changes can be deceptive on the eye. There’s nothing gimmicky about the golf course which requires a full repertoire of shots. Los Flamingos Golf Course is a very popular Marbella golf course in Spain. If you are looking for a Puerto Banus golf holiday then the Los Flamingos golf course is an excellent choice. Los Flamingos Golf Course is also near the Andalucia Plaza golf resort.
