Nestled among the hills of Benahavis the Marbella Club Golf Resort is as peaceful and private as you would expect. The first thing that strikes you when arriving at this well hidden golf course is the small thatched Balinese style clubhouse. It does however more than makes up for its size with its comfort and excellent service. The beautifully contoured fairways seem to run perfectly from valley to valley through the indigenous cork oaks and pines without any interference from neighbouring holes. Water doesn’t play a large part in this course but where it does the strategically placed streams cascading into the lakes are more of a joy than devilish water hazards.
Marbella Club Golf Resort is certainly demanding but like so many courses located in mountainous areas which have two or three weak holes this course does not. As a testament to its design golfers of all abilities will enjoy this well balanced challenge.
