Mijas Los Olivios Course has long been a popular destination with golfers travelling to Spain, as it is also home to the Mijas Los Lagos Course. These two beautifully prepared golf courses, both of Robert Trent Jones Senior design; provide a beautifully landscaped and relaxing setting. The American style entrance with its sweeping driveway leads between the holes towards the clubhouse and the noteworthy Gran Hotel Guadalpin Byblos is a fantastic feature of the golf club. The Mijas Los Olivios Course distinguishes its self from Los Largos with an abundance of trees, hence its name ´The Olive Trees´. Measuring shorter than its twin course with fewer water hazards, Los Olivios is a more strategic course with narrow tree lined fairways and elevated greens that are smaller, undulating and well defended. Although both courses are the work of the same designer, there is no doubt there are interesting contrasts between the two.
Both courses provide unique challenges and are ideal holiday golf courses. Once you have finished your round you can enjoy the traditional style Andalucian Clubhouse with restaurant, bar and a beautiful vine covered terrace which has a fantastic atmosphere. Mijas Los Olivios Course is a challenging Fuengirola golf course in Costa Del Sol. Benalmadena golf holidays offer some of the most challenging courses in between Fuengirola and Torremolinos.
